People  in Peru

It was my first experience staying in Peru for only 10 days. I was a little nervous in the beginning.

But Peruvian  and many people from the world treated me like an Amigos and made me feel at home.

We greeted each other and  enjoyed talking  in hotels , trains and airports.

Philip and Jenny is a nice young couple from France and England.

Nabil Miguel who is Information Technical Analyst of University of Ottawa and his two son, Alexander and

Louis are from Canada. I met them two times at the train back from Machu Picchu and Cusco airport.

I stayed three more days in the Pakaritampu Hotel which is located in Ollantaytambo, 90 Kms away from Cusco, in the heart of the  Sacred Valley. It is the starting point of the Inca's trails.

In the evening, I met a  sophisticate family from Boston whose names are Dr. Gordon Moors, His wife, Charlotte and  his daughter Alison.  Dr. Moors is a professor of Harvard Medical School.

I was glad to have a dinner with them.

Roberto is a nice tour operator who guided me to the Sacred Valley where I could see the Incas built many royal and ceremonial sites. Roberto drove his car for my 2 days Valley trail from Cusco to Sacsayhuaman, Qenko, Puca Pucara, Tombo Macay, Pisac, Urubamba and Ollantaytambo.

Roberto is a warm hearted Inca descendant and took me to a small village in the Sacred Valley that is his birth place. I was welcomed by his aunt and uncle who are producing Inca traditional drink that is made of corn.

In Cusco, I was surprised to see that there were so many Internet Cafes.  It was very convenient for me to communicate with Japanese friends. Katherine who is a student of English idiom class is also a part time worker of the Internet shop next door of my hotel. I enjoyed talking with her and her company about Internet topics. I think Internet is now definitely an International  language.
