I am a Visiting Professor from the School of Social Informatics
at Chuo University in Japan.
My research interests include end-user interfaces of digital library, 
knowledge collaboration and information retrieval systems.
At the University of California, Davis I am a Visiting Professor
of the Department of Computer Science
and I will be conducting research with Professor Walters
whose current research focus is in the field of computer support
of distance learning project entitled Remote Collaboration Tool (RCT). 
RCT is a multidisciplinary effort to enhance collaboration
between students working together,between students 
and instructional staff who are not co-located in time and space.
During my visit, I will join the seminars and the projects related 
to my research fields at the University of California, Berkeley 
in which I am also a Visiting Professor of the School of Information
Management and Systems(SIMS)and I am working with Professor Buckland.
